Herbed Bone Broth Breakfast Soup
This time of year it is nice to have something warm like this yummy bone broth soup to start the day in a nutritious way.
Serves 2
Three things to remember:
- 4 cups homemade bone broth
- 2 cups ground turkey or chicken breakfast sausage meat (you can simply remove sausage meat from the casing)
- 1 cup fresh parsley (or any green leafy herb)
- 1/2 cup zucchini, diced
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 tsp of ground turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1
Place broth, garlic, parsley, turmeric and salt and pepper into high speed blender and blend until smooth. Remove from blender and place into a medium pot over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add zucchini to pot and cook until warmed through and tender.
Step 3
Add pre-cooked breakfast sausage to pot and allow to warm.
Step 4
Serve and enjoy
