The Learning Never Stops

I can hardly believe that it’s been over a year now since I sold the clinic to Laurie Rigg RN with a big goal of focusing more on my own health – as well as yours!

This past year has been an intense tutorial for me – in the role of chronic infection in overall health. We are definitely in a VERY interesting time in the history of medicine. The Functional Medicine world has now identified the vital role chronic infections play in serious health conditions and, the resulting avalanche of information is validating a deep Naturopathic understanding; that the un-resolving inflammation caused by chronic infection can truly be the missing link in getting at the root of any health condition.

In my practice I see this prevalently in Multiple Sclerosis, Autoimmune conditions of all kinds – Hashimoto’s, Rheumatoid Arthritis etc. Inflammatory Bowel diseases like Ulcerative and Crohn’s colitis and naturally those nasty “unexplained” illnesses that don’t have a name and are not “all in your head.”

During the past year I have had the privilege of expanding my clinical understanding and skill with some of the best authorities on the subject in the world. The learning never stops!
